Ülemiste City companies opened their doors to IT students

Ülemiste City is dedicated to assist companies in discovering future talents and to explore dynamic ways of bringing employers and students together.

To make it happen, the fourth Road Trip to Ülemiste City event took place on November 9. The purpose of this event was to familiarize IT students with Ülemiste City and the companies operating on campus. The event aimed to showcase potential work opportunities, internships, collaboration prospects, and provide insights into the field. In today’s fast-paced business environment, future talents are more crucial for rapidly developing companies than ever before. The demand for skilled workers is often so high that talents are recruited directly from universities.

During this year’s Road Trip, students had the unique opportunity to observe the day-to-day operations of IT companies and receive valuable advice on job applications. Through interactions with students, companies gained insights into the expectations of young talent and learned what attributes make a company attractive to them.

The students visited Helmes, Cariad Estonia, Fujitsu Estonia, Nortal, Codeborne, Ericsson Eesti, Primend, Excellent Business Solutions, and Elmo Rent.

Ülemiste City had the pleasure of hosting 115 students from TalTech, EUAS, and kood/Jõhvi during this year’s Road Trip.

A big thanks to our hosts for the warm welcome and for being part of this awesome journey with future talents!
