Yesterday, Tallinn recognized the best companies as part of the Tallinn Entrepreneurship Awards competition, and we proudly announce that Ülemiste City’s latest service, Green City, has been honored with the title of Eco-Innovation of the Year.
The purpose of the eco-innovation competition is to acknowledge the tangible positive impact of innovative solutions on the environment, promote the broader and responsible use of sustainable solutions, and inform the public about environmentally conscious companies. The Green City service, which assists Ülemiste City companies in reducing their environmental footprint, significantly simplifying sustainability reporting, and raising awareness of consumption and sustainable mobility, undoubtedly deserves such recognition.
Furthermore, the completion of the Alma Tomingas office building and the Öpik quarter was selected among the nominees in the Development Project category.
Congratulations to Kadri Look from EUAS, who received a special award for applied research for her master’s thesis titled “The Ecological Footprint of Ülemiste City,” and to our community member Nordea, who was chosen the Job Creator of the Year.
