At Ülemiste City Community Day, Chairman of the Management Board of Mainor Ülemiste Sten Pärnits presented the “Ülemiste City Community Friend 2026” award to Tele2 CEO Margus Nõlvak. The other two nominees, who have contributed significantly to the community this year, were the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications and Kühne+Nagel.
The Community Friend award was created to recognise campus organisations that support Ülemiste City community activities and contribute to the development of the community and the emergence of a sense of community.
When presenting the award, Sten Pärnits thanked the nominated companies for their contribution to the campus community. He added that an active and close-knit community helps create an environment where talents want to come to work every day and contributes to the creation of new ideas.
The “Ülemiste City Community Friend” award is presented once a year at Ülemiste City Community Day. Last year, the award was given to Tallinna Eriarstikeskus.
