Ülemiste City Community Garden will be opened in early May

,   < 1 minute reading

From May, you can grow plants and community feeling in the Ülemiste City Community Garden located behind the Lõõtsa 5 building. The garden will create opportunities for both gardening and spending time together.

The community garden will have both personal and community beds for plants. To use a personal bed, please contact the garden coordinator. There is a small fee to use the bed (20 euros per season) and a contract must be signed. The fee will be used for joint events and other joint expenses of the community garden.

The seating area of the community garden will have plants for shared use and edible landscaping plants. The produce growing in the common areas is for everyone.

The community garden was supported by the Ülemiste City Community Fund and the City of Tallinn.

Parking will be restricted from March 25 due to construction work and the work will last until May 1. As a result of the construction of the community garden, the parking lot behind Lõõtsa 5 will be permanently reduced by two parking rows, but during the work, the area next to Sepapaja and the courtyard will be renovated, which will result in new parking spaces being added to the area.
