‘MIN Bowl is mainly a lunch restaurant and our menu is inspired by Polynesia, a geographical area with more than 1000 islands in the Pacific Ocean,’ said Risto Lilander, the Head Chef at MIN Bowl. ‘We offer a different selection of everything that is Asian. We mainly offer PokeBowls for lunch where poke means freshly chopped or cut vegetables and fish.’

‘We use only fresh raw materials, which we chop, bread or marinate on site,’ said Lilander. ‘In our semi-open kitchen, visitors can peek inside and watch their food being prepared. In the morning from 8–11 we also offer breakfast: porridge, coffee, pastries, and sandwiches. Then from 11–14 we are offering lunch and from 14-17 we are once again offering coffee, cake, salad, etc. Our pleasant interior allows visitors to sit separately and there is also a take-away counter operating during opening hours.’

‘Today, we are talking about closing doors rather than opening them, but the French group Sodexo is moving against the current, opening its fourth daytime restaurant in Estonia,’ said Gert Jostov, Chairman of the Management Board of Technopolis Ülemiste. ‘For six years now, Sodexo has successfully operated the largest restaurant in Estonia, Dvigatel, which can serve lunch to up to about 1800 people a day and at a high level. In Finland, for example, the company operates 250 restaurants, many of which are catering establishments belonging to the Technopolis Group.’

‘The Ülemiste campus continues to develop, and with additional jobs, of course, there is also a need for variety when it comes to places to eat. Although the home office is still a popular solution today, the sustainable development of companies also requires social interaction in offices and the resulting synergy. A crucial component of the latter is the energy obtained from delicious food,’ added Jostov.

The internationally renowned Sodexo Group has offered services at the Eiffel Tower, the Dakar Rally, the French Open, and the Olympic Games. Sodexo is an international French company founded by Pierre Belloni in 1966. For more than 50 years, the company has reached 80 countries around the world and employs nearly half a million people.
