International House of Estonia

International House of Estonia

International House of Estonia provides information and guidance on all aspects of working and living in Estonia as an international talent. For example, with us they can apply for a personal identification code, register their place of residence in Tallinn and learn about kindergarten and school options. Companies planning to recruit global talent can also consult our advisers to understand the requirements and steps involved in bringing international talent to work in Estonia.

International House of Estonia offers various consultations and hosts webinars on different topics related to living in Estonia. Additionally, we also hold language cafés and adaptation and networking events that help internationals build professional connections.

International House of Estonia is part of Enterprise Estonia’s (EIS) Work in Estonia programme.

The main reason for opening International House was that talent arriving in Estonia for work or degree studies had to visit several authorities and search for information through multiple channels to complete the necessary legal procedures. International House of Estonia brings these services together in one convenient location. Consultations are provided by the Police and Border Guard Board, Tallinn Vital Statistics Department, Integration Foundation and Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund. Both individual and group consultations are available.
