It is our honor and pleasure to invite you to participate in a workshop “Entrepreneurial decision making in uncertainty” hosted by our Specialt Guest, Thomas Lans.
Being entrepreneurial means that you are able to make decisions in uncertain environments. In this workshop Thomas Lans is introducing you to the pioneering work of Professor Saras Sarasvathy on effectuation, a problem-solving strategy used by expert entrepreneurs. The workshop will give you a set of decision making principles, also stepping stones for applying such principles to your own entrepreneurial project.
Thomas Lans is an assistant professor at Education & Learning Sciences and one of the founding fathers and coordinator of the MSc entrepreneurship track for Wageningen University. He also coordinates the Climate-KIC master label program for Wageningen University, and is one of the co-developers of the technology-based entrepreneurship MOOC.
