About the building
Lõõtsa 6 is the building of the former Dvigatel factory built in 1900 where mostly larger metal details were manufactured. Until 2006, there was a furniture manufactory in the building. In 2006-2008, the building was reconstructed and today, it is used as an office building.
The building was named after Walter Zapp, a Balto-German inventor and constructor. Walter Zapp is the creator of the famous spy camera Minox, which the photo and technology historians have called an ingenious invention.
On the first storey of Zapp Building is restaurant Dvigatel, the kitchen of which ready to serve nearly 3000 people a day. On the second storey, there are conference and meeting rooms of various size. Companies such as Nortal and Helmes reside in the building.
The building has been awarded the LEED Silver certificate.
