The International School of Tallinn (IST) is an English-language school offering education for children aged 3–19, from early years through to upper secondary education. Teaching is based on the International Baccalaureate (IB) educational framework and includes the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP).
The curriculum is designed to provide a strong academic foundation while supporting the development of critical thinking, independent learning skills and language proficiency. Learning is structured and balanced, connecting academic knowledge with practical skills and broader perspectives.
The school community is multicultural and supportive, offering students a safe and consistent learning environment throughout their school journey. Experienced teachers and modern learning facilities support students’ academic progress and future educational pathways. An IB education provides graduates with a solid basis for further studies in Estonia and internationally.
The school location in the Ülemiste City offers families a convenient and easily accessible learning environment in one of Tallinn’s fastest-growing areas. Families of Ülemiste City companies are eligible for a 10% tuition fee discount at the International School of Tallinn.
Admissions to the International School of Tallinn are open year-round; however, the number of available places is limited. Families are encouraged to contact the school early to learn more about the programmes, the admissions process and the school’s learning environment and values.
Further information, including a 3D tour, is available on the school’s website.
