SHUFFLEBOARD RULES
- The game can be played by 2 or 4 players (doubles). In doubles play, teammates play from opposite ends of the table, meaning only one teammate plays in each round.
- Players take turns sliding the pucks.
- A puck must cross the far foul line, at least partially. Otherwise, the puck is removed from play.
- Points are counted after all 8 pucks have been played. Only the winner of the round scores points, and only pucks that are positioned beyond the opponent’s best-scoring puck count. Points are awarded according to the scoring zones marked on the table. A puck that extends over the end edge of the table is called a “hanger” and scores 5 points.
- The winner of the previous round starts the next round.
- The game is typically played to 15 or 21 points.
