Take part in one of the region’s most exciting business and leadership conferences — Nordic Business Forum — without leaving the city.

This year, we are once again offering Ülemiste City community members the opportunity to follow the Nordic Business Forum presentations via live broadcast on 16–17 September in the Öpiku Conference Centre, Universum Hall.

The event focuses on the theme “The Human Edge: Performance – Decision-Making – Collaboration.” In an increasingly technological world, the forum raises an important question: what is our true human advantage?

The event explores how leaders can combine courage, resilience, empathy, and collaboration to make better decisions, improve performance, and build stronger teams. At the heart of the program is the interplay between people and technology — how AI and new tools can amplify, rather than replace, our human strengths.

Featured speakers include:

• Oprah Winfrey – one of the world’s most influential media figures, known for her exceptional ability to inspire, build connections, and spark meaningful societal conversations.
• Steven Bartlett – entrepreneur and host of The Diary of a CEO. His session focuses on how failure can be a powerful driver of growth.
• Angela Duckworth – professor at the University of Pennsylvania and author of Grit. Duckworth is an internationally recognized researcher studying perseverance, motivation, and long-term success.
• Kjell A. Nordström – economist, author, and strategist, known for his sharp and futuristic insights into globalization, organizational culture, and the future of leadership.

Broadcast schedule:

• 16 September: starts at 12:00 and runs until 19:15
• 17 September: starts at 9:30 and runs until 17:00
