Eesti juhtiv arvutitootja ML Arvutid ja Ülemiste City sõlmisid lepingu uue arvutitehase rajamiseks Tallinna Lennujaama naabrusesse rajatavasse innovatsioonilinnakusse.

"Arvutitehas tuleb 1800 m² põrandapindalaga ning hoones hakkavad asuma nii arvutite koostetsehh, ladu kui ka arvutite hoolduse ning remondi osakond," ütles AS ML Arvutid juhatuse esimees Mait Rahi. "Uues hoones leiab koha ka ettevõtte juhtkond. Arvutitehase valmimistähtaeg on 2007. aasta hilissuvi."

"Parem töökeskkond ja ümbritsev infrastruktuur on oluline osa iga ettevõtte töötajate motivatsioonist", lausus Mait Rahi. "Meie ettevõte on kasvanud ning tänased pinnad jäävad meile kitsaks. Ülemiste City on meie jaoks hea valik nii pakutava infrastruktuuri poolest kui ka logistiliselt. Spetsiaalselt meie vajaduste järgi kohtandatud pindadel suudame ka tootmise efektiivsemaks muuta", lisas Mait Rahi.

"ML Arvutid on meie esimene pääsuke kõrgtehnoloogiliste tootmisettevõtete rajamisel Ülemiste City`sse", ütles AS Ülemiste City juhatuse esimees Gunnar Kobin. "On selge, et hetkel on meie fookus suunatud enam just büroode ning infrastruktuuri rajamisele, kuid paralleelselt peame läbirääkimisi ka ML Arvuti taoliste eesrindlike tootmisettevõtetega ning mitte ainult elektroonika valdkonnas," lisas Gunnar Kobin.

Ülemiste City on Tallinna Lennujaama naabrusesse rajatav innovatsioonilinn. Lisaks büroodele on linna 33 hektari suurusele alale planeetitud ka ligi 70 000 m² tootmisettevõtteid eeskätt kõrgtehnoloogilistest valdkondadest.

ML Arvutid on Eesti juhtiv arvutitootja ja distribuutor, mis tegeleb ML kaubamärgi arvutite tootmisega. Ettevõte põhineb 100% Eesti kapitalil ja annab tööd 62 inimesele. ML Arvutid 2005/06 finantsaasta käive oli 310 mln krooni.

Computer manufacturer ML Arvutid is going to build a new computer manufactory in Ülemiste City

ML Arvutid, the Estonian leading computer manufacturer, and Ülemiste City concluded an agreement on foundation of a new computer manufactory in the innovation city that is constructed nearby Tallinn Airport.

"The computer manufactory will have floor space of 1,800 m2 and the building consists of the computer assembly plant, storehouse and computer maintenance and repair department," said Mait Rahi, the chairman of the board of ML Arvutid Ltd. "The administration of the company will also be housed in the new building. The completion term of the computer manufactory is in late summer of 2007."

"Better working environment and surrounding infrastructure is an important part of employees' motivation in every company," said Mait Rahi. "Our company has been growing and present premises do not satisfy us. Ülemiste City is a good choice for us both by offered infrastructure and by its logistics. In premises specially adjusted according to our needs, we can increase the efficiency of our production," Mait Rahi added.

"ML Arvutid is the pioneer of building high-tech manufacturing companies in Ülemiste City," said Gunnar Kobin, the chairman of the board of Ülemiste City Ltd. "Clearly we now focus more on the construction of offices and infrastructure but at the same time we negotiate with progressive manufacturing companies like ML Arvutid, and not only in the field of electronics," Gunnar Kobin added.

Ülemiste City is an innovation city that is built in the neighbourhood of Tallinn Airport. In addition to office buildings, approximately 70,000 m2 manufacturing companies, primarily from high-tech fields, are also planned to locate within the area of 33 ha of the city.

ML Arvutid is the leading computer manufacturer and distributor in Estonia engaged in production of computers with trademark ML. The company 100% bases on Estonian capital and employs 62 people. The turnover of the 2005/06 financial year of ML Arvutid was 310 million kroons.
