12. oktoobril sõlmisid Ülemiste City AS juhatuse esimees Gunnar Kobin ja AS Restor juhatuse liige Arsi Kook projekteerimis- ja ehituslepingu uue büroohoone rajamiseks Ülemiste Citysse. Uus rajatav hoone aadressil Lõõtsa 4 paikneb Suur-Sõjamae tee äärde kerkiva 10-korruselise büroomaja kõrval, vastvalminud Mainori Kõrgkooli vahetus naabruses.

„Otsustasime säilitada ja restaureerida vana instrumentaaltsehhi paekivist seinad ning rajada nende sisse uue kahest klaasfassaadiga korpusest koosneva 4-korrusselise hoonete kompleksi," ütles Gunnar Kobin. Hoone südameks saab paekiviga piiratud siseõu, kust avaneb ligipääs kõigisse kontoritesse. „Kogu hoonekompleksil on tänase seisuga ka potentsiaalne rentnik, kellega käib lepingutingimuste täpsustamine," lisas Gunnar Kobin.

„Lõõtsa 4 hoone on juba teine objekt, mille rajamise osas me Ülemiste Cityga koostööd teeme," ütles Arsi Kook. „Hetkel lõpetame viimaseid töid renoveeritud Mainori Korgkooli hoones, kus õppetöö käib juba alates septembrist."

Büroohoones saab olema üle 5000 m² kontoripinda. Projekteerimine ehitusloa staadiumini võtab aega mõned kuud, hoone ise valmib järgmise aasta suveks.

Ülemiste Cityst saab Põhjamaade kaasaegseim innovatsioonilinn, kus aukohal on loominguline lähenemine kaasaegse töökeskkonna loomiseks.

Ülemiste City signs a 60 million EEK building contract with Restor

On 12th of October, Gunnar Kobin, the CEO of Ülemiste City AS and Arsi Kook, board member of AS Restor signed a contract for the engineering and construction of a new office building in Ülemiste City. New building will be situated on Lõõtsa 4, next to arising 10-storey complex by Suur-Sõjamäe road and in the neighborhood of just renovated Mainor Business School.

„We decided to retain and restore the limestone walls of an old assembling department and inside it build a new four-storey complex with two glass facades", said Gunnar Kobin. The heart of the building will be a limestone courtyard with access to all offices.  „There is already a potential tenant for the whole building, with whom we are specifying the terms of contract", added Gunnar Kobin.

„Lõõtsa 4 is already a second complex for us to collaborate with Ülemiste City", said Arsi Kook. „Right now we are finishing our work in renovated Mainor Business School, where the studies has been going on since September".

In the office complex there will be over 5000 m² of office space. From making the project until building permits stage it will take few months. The building itself will be ready in next summer.

Ülemiste City will become the most modern innovation city of the Nordics, where creative approaches to creating a working environment are held in high esteem.
